Kids Ministry Easter Weekend Recap

We had the best holy week praying and preparing for our Easter weekend. Many people helped collect, stuff and prepare resurrection kits. 20 volunteers spent Saturday "Egging" 68 Houses and each of those families was encouraged to pass along the blessing as we left extra supplies. Pictures flooded in from our preschool and church families showing the joy on the kids faces as they walked through the resurrection story with their new kits! We had several kids show up for the Easter sunrise service and then we began a fun filled morning upstairs cooking our own resurrection rolls together, making a 21 page Hands on Easter story booklet complete with Play-Doh play mats that also told the Easter story, and we watched a 20 minute Easter video together. 22 kids joined us for the morning, and everyone walked away blessed, adults, and kids alike! He is risen, he is risen, indeed!
