Church Work Day Review

What an amazing team!  Thanks to Dan Callahan for organizing our church-wide work day last Saturday.  Thanks to the hard work of these dedicated members,  most of the old plants around the CAC sign were removed to make way for new landscaping coming soon.  Over the next few weeks, several trees will be removed and others trimmed, then new plants and sod will be installed.  Please pardon the mess.  We are grateful for your support.

There were approximately 25 people who came out to the work day.  We worked on 4 projects.

1.  The Sanctuary was thoroughly cleaned.  The pews, narthex, and altar areas were dusted, windows cleaned, and pew pads were vacuumed.  The terrazzo floors were mopped.  Please help to keep these areas clean.

2.  The old shrubs in front of the CAC were removed.  New plants will be installed in a few weeks.

3.  The God's Gang Building was reorganized and lots of stuff was discarded.

4.  The Memory Garden received some TLC.  More work is needed.  If you can assist in the near future, please contact Ruth Bailey.  She can use your assistance.
