Lakewood’s youth group gets together numerous times weekly to share in worship, study and have a lot of fun.

The youth group goes on numerous trips each year, including a choir tour that takes them all over the country and beyond, a winter retreat to the mountains of North Carolina, a hiking trip, and several others.

They get together for Sunday school, Bible study, and MYF weekly.

Our biggest gathering of the week, we meet for dinner at 6 pm followed by a game, a lesson or program, and a time for worship and discussion. We focus on the scriptures both to help us better understand them and to see how we find ourselves within them and allow them to speak to our lives.

Pick up is in the CAC Circle at 8:30pm.

Starting at 5pm on Wednesdays, youth can come to the Youth Room to play games, do homework, catch up with friends, etc.

Dinner is served downstairs in the Gym from 6:00 – 6:30 pm.

Around 6:30 pm we split boys and girls for bible study, usually wrapping up at 7:30pm.
